First Steps

About the Program

The corona crisis made this reality immeasurably more difficult. The employment market in Israel is experiencing a tremendous upheaval and the ability to choose a career wisely has become more challenging than ever.

Today, we are there for the lone soldiers during their service as well as at the moment of their release from the IDF. We employ a team of specialists that accompanies these young people, supports them when it comes to exercising their rights, guides them on the path to choosing a course of study and employment, and provides them with emotional and social support. We need to expand this suite of services and give the lone discharged soldiers what they deserve…and more!

In order to both increase the bandwidth of support for discharged soldiers and increase the number of discharged lone soldiers served, we are interested in establishing an alumni forum with two main programs:

FIRST STEPS will provide guidance and support so urgently needed by the released soldier.
