A Lone Soldier Journey

The Modern Pioneers

The Modern Pioneers is an exclusive Israel advocacy program that will train a team of discharged former lone IDF soldiers with an interest in the fields of media, marketing, political science and give them the most sufficient tools to effectively communicate about Israel and defeat anti-israel campaigns and anti-semitism.

Over the course of the program our participants are touring strategic points throughout Israel and its border regions, meet Israeli influencing politicians, journalists and activists from a variety of organizations and institutions. You will receive practical training in effective social media content creation, public speaking, combating fake news and much more.

About LSC

The Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin is named in honor of a young man who made the ultimate sacrifice for his faith and the State of Israel. In 2002, Michael left his home near Philadelphia to immigrate to Israel and join the IDF. Four years later he was home on leave visiting his family when war broke out on the northern border. Michael immediately returned to join his unit, the Paratroopers Battalion 890, in Lebanon. Michael fell in battle within 24 hours of returning to Israel and was laid to rest at the Mount Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.
